Principle Of Work And Power
Cassette water sampler is also known as cassette furnace, its working principle is to heat the sample in a closed sample bottle to above the boiling point of water, and then with the help of dry carrier gas (dry air or high purity nitrogen), the water vapor evaporated from the sample bottle into the water meter Karl Fischer reagent, using a trace moisture meter to measure its moisture.
For some samples that are insoluble in Karl Fischer reagent or samples that have REDOX reaction with Karl Fischer reagent, such as plastic particles, rubber, graphite, lubricating oils, solid drugs, etc., the moisture can not be measured directly, and it is necessary to deal with such samples with the help of "cassette furnace" to complete the moisture measurement.
