1. Machine use:
It is used to test the lubricating, anti-wear properties and changes of oil temperature after lubricating oil and mixing with anti-wear additives
2. Experimental conditions:
Under the condition of 110V, 3-4 thallium of ordinary oil is locked, and 12 thallium of wear-resistant oil is not locked.
3. Operation steps:
1. Turn on the power and start the motor. Use a whetstone dipped in ordinary lubricating oil to thoroughly polish the shaft sleeve. When grinding, press the whetstone evenly with your thumb. After grinding, wipe the shaft sleeve and turn off the motor. The purpose of grinding is to eliminate the influence of the original oil film or nano film on the experimental results.
2. Fix the steel ball in the short lever groove of the testing machine, add ordinary lubricating oil to the oil box, and install the lubricating oil box and the long and short levers.
3. Start the motor and run it first. Then at regular intervals (such as about 5 seconds), add weights one by one at the end of the long lever, each weight (family car) is equivalent to the friction pair bearing 100 kg of pressure; for (trucks such as Steyr) A weight is added to the friction pair to carry a pressure of 2 tons. Record the number of weights and see the change of the pointer of the ammeter. The pointer increases, which proves that the power consumption increases, and the power consumption is the fuel consumption. The noise gradually increases, continue to add weights (about 3 or 4 pieces) until the grinding wheel stops, the machine locks up, and the power is quickly turned off. Remove the weight, take off the short lever, and observe the wear scar depth, wear scar area and wear scar roughness of the cylindrical grinding block.
4. The calculation formula of the test force at the end of the long lever is 0.6 (weight of each weight) * 1 (number of weights) * 14 (lever ratio) = kilogram, or converted into kilogram force is 0.6 (weight of each weight) * 1(number of weights)*14(lever ratio)*9.8N/m=kg force
5. Change the angle of the steel ball and install the lever. Grind the shaft sleeve again, because the experiment just now wears the shaft sleeve and needs to be smoothed.
6. Add our wear-resistant lubricating oil to the oil box.
7. Add weights one by one at the end of the long lever, 1 piece, 2 pieces... Ordinary oil adds about 4 pieces, the machine will lock, and the wear-resistant lubricant we operate exceeds 4 pieces. The machine runs as usual. Looking at the ammeter needle, it moved only a little. Current × voltage = power consumption, the pointer of the ammeter changes very little, saving electricity is saving fuel. Gradually add weights to 12 pieces and the machine runs as usual.
