HZNQ-1103 ISO3016 ASTM D97 Single Bath Fully Automatic Pour Point Tester
Introduction
HZNQ-1103 POUR POINT AUTOMATIC MEASURING APPARATUS is for measuring the pour point of most petroleum products (e.g. diesel oil, fuel oil and lubricating oil, etc.) . Pour point test is intended to confirm the lowest temperature that petroleum products can flow in cooling. The parameter directly affects pump transportation ability in storage. Additive can improve flow of petroleum products under low temperature. Additive can change structure of straight chaine alkanes crystal, so as to make four point lower, while the performance of petroleum products is not improved under actual application for decreasing of pour point. POUR POINT AUTOMATIC MEASURING APPARATUS is equipped with 1 test baths. Operator can control equipment via keyboard, touch screen or mouse. Once the test begins, all procedures are automatic.

The instrument is manufactured strictly according to the ASTM D97 and ASTM D2500 standards.

ASTM D 97 Suitable for all kinds of petroleum products.
ASTM D 2500 Suitable for petroleum products with 40mm thick transparency and turbidity point lower than 49 C.
1.2 Meaning and use
The dumping point defined by the ASTM D97 standard is an important indicator of the performance of petroleum products in low temperature applications.
The turbidity point defined by the ASTM D2500 standard is an important indicator of the performance of petroleum products in low temperature applications.
1.3 Method Summary
ASTM D97: After preheating the sample, cool at the specified speed, and check the mobility of the sample every 3ºC interval. Record the lowest temperature of the observed sample energy flow as the tipping point.
ASTM D2500: Cool the sample at the specified rate and observe it regularly. When the turbidity is seen at the bottom of the test tube, it will be recorded as the turbidity point
