Latex High Speed Mechanical Stability Analyzer ASTM D1076 Testing Equipment

HZ2314A latex high-speed mechanical stability tester meets the requirements of "GBT 8301-2008 Determination of Mechanical Stability of Concentrated Natural Rubber Latex" and "SHT 1151-1998 High-speed Mechanical Stability Test of Synthetic Latex". This instrument is mainly suitable for latex production units and scientific research institutes to test the mechanical stability of natural latex and synthetic latex. It is an indispensable instrument for improving the quality of latex.

Testing method:
First, dilute 100g of the sample with ammonia solution to make the solid content reach 55% of the total mass fraction, and then immediately heat the sample to 36~37ºC with a heating device while gently stirring. Then immediately filter the heated latex with a stainless steel wire mesh, weigh 80g of latex and place it in the container, verify that the temperature of the latex should be 35°C ± 1°C, put the latex in the specified position of the instrument for high-speed stirring, and Start timing until the end is reached. During the whole process, the agitator speed should be 14000r/min±200r/min.

Judgment of the end point: Before reaching the end point, the vortex around the stirring rod becomes obviously shallow, and the sound of the stirring device also changes. You can use the following two methods to determine the end point:
1. Palm method: The judging method is to take a drop of latex sample with a clean glass rod every 15 seconds, and gently place the sample on the palm of the hand. The end point is when the flocs appear for the first time. In order to confirm that the end point is reached, let the stirring device stir for another 15 seconds and then take a sample. If the flocculent particles in the sample increase, the end point judgment is correct.
2. Water surface dispersion method: Take a flat-bottomed dish containing 100~150mL of water and place it on the black surface. Use a sharp glass rod to take a small drop of sample and place it on the flat-bottomed water surface immediately. If the latex does not coagulate If the latex is flocculated, it will be easy to see the floccules after the sample is dispersed in the water.
